Section 1: Ordering Jewelry Online
1.1 How do I know my ring size?
Each finger on your hand may have a different size. Rings should fit comfortably at the base of your finger while having some resistance coming off. If you're unsure of your size, we recommend visiting your local jeweler or ordering a ring sizer online. We like this one for thin bands (3mm in width or less) and this one for thicker bands (4mm in width and above). If you’re unsure of what kind of sizer to purchase for a particular design, don’t hesitate to reach out to us!
We urge you to be confident in your ring size before placing an order. While many designs can be resized after purchase, we cannot accept any returns or exchanges on made to order pieces.
1.2 I don't see my size online. Am I out of luck?
Not at all! Our website only allows us to have a certain number of “variants” for each item displayed. If you don’t see your size on our site, just shoot us an email at info@dallasmaynard.com, and we’ll be happy to help you out.
1.3 Do you offer quarter sizes?
We do! Place an order for the closest size available online and shoot us an email at info@dallasmaynard.com to request a quarter size.
1.4 I love one of your One of a Kind pieces, but it isn’t in my size. Can you help?
Most of our One of a Kind designs can be resized easily. Email info@dallasmaynard.com to inquire about a specific design.
1.5 I see the same design twice on your site, but only one of them has a specific color gold and size attached. What’s that about?
Many of our designs are made to order, which means that you can order the piece in whatever size or color gold you’d like. We’ll fabricate it just for you, and it will take about 4-6 weeks to ship. However, we love to keep a small selection of pieces in stock and ready to ship for folks that have last-minute gifting needs. These pieces are marked with their color gold and size.
1.6 I need to buy a gift soon, but the ready to ship size won't work. Can you help?
Many of our designs can be resized at home by your local jeweler if they don’t fit. You can also email info@dallasmaynard.com to inquire about a rush order.
Section 2: Customizing Jewelry
2.1 I love your designs, but I want a different gemstone or color palette. Is that possible?
Most of our designs can be customized with any gemstone or color palette. Email info@dallasmaynard.com to get the customization process started.
2.2 I love your designs, but I think I want something totally custom. Can we create something together?
Absolutely! Head to our Custom Design page to learn more about the custom process and fill out our questionnaire.
2.3 Can we create something with my family's heirloom gemstones?
We LOVE working with heirloom stones but need to inspect each one before saying yes. Fill out our Custom Design questionnaire and include that you'd like to use family stones. We'll inspect them to make sure they will fit requirements for our insurance and our own quality control before agreeing to work with them.
2.4 I love your custom work, but I can’t meet the $2,500 minimum. Am I out of luck?
Not at all! We’ve created a collection of totally unique, one of a kind designs that are already made and ready to ship. Many of these fall below our custom design minimum. We also have a stunning selection of rings in our Core Collection that can be customized without needing to meet the custom design minimum.
2.5 I’d like one of your designs in 18k gold or platinum, is that possible?
Email info@dallasmaynard.com to inquire about pricing for 18k gold or platinum for any of our designs.
Section 3: Shipping & Returns
3.1 How quickly does my jewelry order ship?
Our items have different shipping timeframes based on whether they are ready to ship or made to order.
- Ready to ship items will ship within 3 business days of placing your order.
- Made to order items will ship within 4-6 weeks of placing your order.
- The timeline for custom pieces may vary and will be communicated during the design process.
If you need your item sooner, please email info@dallasmaynard.com to inquire about a rush order.
3.2 Do you offer rush orders?
Yes! On a case-by-case basis, we may be able to accommodate rush orders for an additional fee. Email info@dallasmaynard.com to inquire.
3.3 I chose overnight shipping– does that mean my order will arrive tomorrow?
The shipping method you choose at checkout only applies once we’ve delivered your order to the mail carrier. Even in-stock and ready to ship items may take a few days to reach the shipper. Email info@dallasmaynard.com if you have an extremely time-sensitive deadline, and we may be able to accommodate.
3.4 Do you offer returns?
We do not offer returns. Ready to ship items in unworn condition may be exchanged for store credit within 30 days of purchase. All made to order pieces and loose stones are Final Sale. Customers are responsible for return shipping charges. We do not offer refunds. Email info@dallasmaynard.com to start a return for store credit.
3.5 Do you offer exchanges?
Ready to ship items in unworn condition may be exchanged for store credit or another item within 30 days of purchase. All made to order pieces and loose stones are Final Sale. Customers are responsible for return shipping charges. Email info@dallasmaynard.com to start an exchange.
3.6 Can I return my made to order piece?
All made to order items are final sale. We may be able to accommodate a resizing for a fee, but we cannot accept any returns or exchanges on made to order items.
3.7 Do you offer local pickup?
If you live in the Chicagoland area and would like to pick up your item, we’d love to meet you! Email info@dallasmaynard.com to coordinate a pickup time at our studio in Ravenswood.
Section 4: Other Questions
4.1 Where can I see your beautiful jewelry in person?
Dallas Maynard Jewelry is currently only sold at Love Locked in Jersey City, NJ. Don’t worry– we’ll be expanding our stockist list soon! Have a favorite shop you think we’d be a great fit for? Drop us a lint info@dallasmaynard.com.
4.2 I want to carry DMJ at my shop!

4.3 What is your warranty policy?
We will replace any stones 2mm or less in size for up to one year after receiving your order. However, if any other jeweler works on the piece, this will void the warranty.
Section 5: Ordering Loose Stones
5.1 How quickly will my loose stone ship?
All loose stones ship directly from Misfit within a few business days.
5.2 I found a stone on your site that I’d love for you to turn into a ring!
This is our favorite part! Fill out our Custom Design questionnaire and be sure to mention the stone you fell in love with. We’d love to make you something magical!
5.3 Can I return or exchange my loose stone?
All loose stones are Final Sale.
